Central Virginia Chapter
The Central Virginia Chapter of Quail Unlimited (CVCQU) was chartered in the mid 1980s and is Virginia’s oldest and strongest QU chapter. The vision of its’ original board was to promote sound quail and habitat management and to educate and assist its’ members, the general public and state agencies in this process.
During the past 20 plus years we have purchased and distributed thousands of pounds of habitat seed, assisted the state game department in the acquisition of various equipment (including a warm season grass drill), and established a scholarship fund with Va. Tech and disbursed thousands of dollars to worthy recipients. We continue to fund these programs on an annual basis.
We are committed to achieving our founding board’s objectives with an added emphasis on partnering with other conservation minded organizations, agencies and individuals. We invite you to attend us at any of our monthly board meetings and to join our chapter and become more informed and involved with our activities.
